Reflection

   After taking this Health Education class I have learned many new things about healthy living and the negative effects drugs and alcohol have in our lives. I also learned about body image and how society has a huge impact on how we feel about ourselves and our bodies. A lot of people feel pressured to look a certain way because of social media. We did a lot of assignments that really helped me to see how bad my diet is. I strongly feel the need to change my eating habits to a much more healthful diet.

   At the beginning of the semester I set 2 goals for myself, but I unfortunately was only able to achieve 1 of them. I was able to improve my writing skills. The other goal was to complete all of my weekly assignments on time by learning how to manage my time, I was not able to stick to my 168-hour calendar therefore I was not able to achieve this goal. I did pretty good with all assignments except one.

   Looking at everything I accomplished, I am satisfied with the results I achieved. If I could do anything different, I would really stick to my 168-hour calendar so that I do not have to struggle doing this last minute. I think if I had managed my time better everything would have been a bit smoother. I leave this class knowing that Health is much more important than some people think and that I need to take care of myself today so that I can have a better, much healthier future.
