Natalie Goldberg supplied me with a how to do list for writing. From her I learned how to write. The use of metaphors, communing and sharing with friends written works. I learned the importance of abstract thought and that the product of writing is not predetermined. Abstract thought, umm, still working on, but at least Goldberg opened the door to its possibilities.  Remember, "One Plus One Equals a Mercedes Benz" and "Writing Is Not a McDonald's Hamburger", from Goldberg's Writing Down the Bones. Do I really have to include a works cited page? OK, I will. The importance of detail hit the spot for me. I need to use that practice more in my writing. I almost forgot;
