Move Your Saved Recordings to 3C Media Solutions

3C Media Solutions Links to an external site. is an educational media distribution service for video content provided for all campuses within the California Community Colleges system.  You can think of it as an internal "YouTube" exclusively reserved to host videos created by California Community College faculty. Your uploaded videos are hosted online and can be linked to or embedded into your Canvas materials.

Please keep in mind that if you plan to reuse a class recording anywhere other than the term/course section it was created in you must remove any student information.  If there is any identifiable student information, including name or likeness in the video, you will need to download the video and use a video editor to edit or cut out any identifying information. Screencast-o-matic is a great tool which can help you produce and edit your own videos, and faculty can get a free premier Screencast-o-matic account through PCC.

If you have an "incomplete" student from a previous term who is still completing coursework, we recommend keeping the recordings for that particular course section for one year so that your incomplete student(s) can reference the recordings.  If you do not have incomplete students, you may delete recordings anytime after the term has ended and final grades have been entered in LancerPoint.
