Lastly, the third Student Learning Outcome evaluates the student’s ability to "Formulate geographic research questions and proposes solutions to complex real world cultural geography problems." For this SLO, it was most fully satisfied through the PSA project we did for cultural awareness. For the project we were tasked with researching and identifying an issue, then we sought out solutions to them, but to find solutions we formulated questions based on our research. We tackled the issue of what discrimination Muslims face in America and our solution was to educate and fight the media’s portrayal of Muslim Americans.
