Unit 8 WK 16 Lesson Pg. 2

Now that you've shared your ePortfolio link with your partners, you'll want to review and print the ePortfolio Review Guidelines on the next page.

You should aim to finish your ePortfolio revision responses by Wednesday so that your group members can have ample time to revise their ePortfolios by the due date.

There are several things you should remember when it comes to peer review.

  1. Be nice. Critique is all about looking at the material and trying to figure out what the writer's purpose was, and what the writer was attempting. Give critique based on that.
  2. Critique according to the required components. Read the assignment guidelines and help your peers come up with ways to revise based on the assignment guidelines.
  3. Be sure to point out things that are working really well. The writer can build on these good things and then develop the weaker aspects of the portfolio to match the stronger aspects of the portfolio.
