Although you may not feel like an expert on your topic at the moment, you will spend the rest of this week and next week learning more about your topic, why it is important, and how to incorporate what you learned into your own writing.  

 

Grammar and style are important components of writing, because they have everything to do with good revision and good editing skills. 

 

The next page will describe your group assignment for this week--to develop a Grammar and Language Tip Sheet with your GRAMMAR AND LANGUAGE COHORT groups.
