Unit 5 WK 10 Overview
Week 10 Overview
Hopefully the last two weeks have given you valuable practice and a strong foundation in revision and editing strategies. In the last week of this unit, Week 10, we'll look at how verbalizing a text can help readers and writers re-vision what the text can become. This is a great strategy that you'll likely use throughout your college career and beyond.
Bouncing ideas off of other people is an important part of revision and composition. It makes people nervous, sure, because we each want to be "perfect" with our writing, and sometimes sharing the vulnerability of our work can be scary. However, if we're working with a good group of peers, and if we're open to hearing the feedback and working from a growth mindset to develop a meaningful composition for ourselves, the "talk aloud" revision and editing approach can be wonderful.
Lets get started this week and you can see what we're talking about!
