Google Docs & Spreadsheets Logo

This semester we'll be utilizing GOOGLE DOCS.

It's a great feature that CANVAS is partnered with. However, if you don't have a GMAIL account, it can be a challenge to use. (Sometimes Yahoo users and others are able to use google docs).

If you're familiar with Google Docs and have accessed it and utilized it before, then please simply upload your Google Doc access account as an assignment. Assignment List

If you've never used Google Docs,

we recommend visiting YOUTUBE and searching for videos on Google Docs. They are numerous, and you can click the captioning if you need to, although be aware that the YouTube captioning is not perfect.

If you've never used Google Docs, we'd like you to set up a GMAIL account.

Go to www.gmail.com Links to an external site.and set up a free account. We'd prefer you to use some version of your name--a professional account--that you can continue to utilize throughout your college career. "sxygoogly2012.hotmail.com" isn't exactly the best way to present yourself online to teacher, scholarship reviewers, and admissions counselors.

So, set up a new gmail account OR if you're familiar with google docs and have used it widely with your current email, enter the following as a text submission.

Your First and Last Name

Best Phone Number with Area Code to Contact You

Your Email Account

This email account will also be utilized as a backup communication should CANVAS go down.
