What to do with the feedback
What do you do with the feedback?
Once you've gotten feedback from a tutor you want to examine it and reflect on it.
You don't have to do everything the tutor told you to do. Remember, tutors are just other people with ideas about your paper. You can think about what they have to say and make a decision about how to implement (or not implement) their ideas. Remember that ultimately, it's your decision; the paper is yours.
You might review A Writer's Reference section C3 for Revision ideas, Global Revision strategies, and other guidelines for revising.
You could take the tutor's comments and make a list of key ideas or sections of the essay that need attention and then go through them.
Finally, you might think about the purpose of your paper and see how the tutor's comments or ideas fit into your purpose, and that can help you to develop your paper using the revision suggestions more actively.
Good luck!
