The first and most important thing that I learned about freewriting is that I learned a little bit about myself. I learned about my concerns and relived some of my experiences.

Donald Trump the time keeper Are we really going to turn by clock to the 1930’s Are

We going to a failed isolation policy Are we going to harken the of McCarthism. Do we

     Hate so much

When I was in the hospital unable to perform basic task It was my mind that was racing.

Dreaming of walking cycling, playing basketball, Thoughts of how I could do my job better

At work. Am I still able What’s the next step 10 minutes (9/13/2015 noon)

The next thing I learned was, how rewarding, enjoyable and therapeutic the experience of freewriting is. Freewriting gave me a chance to reflect and get things of my chest.

My pregnant niece, I worried She’s falling by the wayside She’s lacking energy I don’t know

how to get her spirits I stay away I shouldn’t I should engage

A break, Finally I got a chance to Freewrite I miss the experience So I’ll take my time

I also learned that my freewriting experienced evolved as my studies progressed. It wasn’t as free as it had been. It became more focused on the topic at hand.

Man School is getting busy Gotta plan my time better Need a break. I want to get things done

Ahead of time but I am always reading History Western Civilization tough Narratives tedious

I learned that focused freewriting was a big help in preparing for my essays. These are the thoughts I had in preparing for the first essay, what is and how to develop an authentic voice.

How do I use the past 3 weeks of writing n reading Thinking You know the work done has led

Me here All I’ve done isdrawn a blank A self imposed fog clouds my head The throbbing

Search for clarity Who am I Where do I start The beginning New Mexico

I’ve found the freewriting experience refreshing and it’ll be something I’ll do and cherish for the rest of my life. For me, my family and whomever cares to listen.
