Goals

Right now, I just want to transfer. That's all I'm focusing on for my academic goals. I mean, what goal can I set for myself right now other than to transfer? The smaller "goals" are more like small obstacles I have to get through to achieve the big one. When I finally transfer, which is soon hopefully, I want to settle down on a major I feel mostly comfortable and interested in. At the moment, I'm still undecided between choosing a major, but that will change soon. Aside from furthering my education my personal goals are losing weight and ultimately to become a healthier person. I currently lift weights, and so far it's going really well but for my weight class I should be lifting much more. So one of my personal goals is to increase each of my lifts by about 50% by next summer. I don't want to get bulky or anything, I just want that toned/cut look. - September

Outcomes

Not much has changed since the beginning of the semester. Well, I've improved my lifting across the board by at least ten pounds, so that's pretty awesome. I've also been studying more, and my time management has been efficient and effective. Aside from that, I've learned more about our government and the US in general and where we are in the world on a political standpoint, all of this just from my political science course. In addition to politics, I have a much better grasp on geography since the Geography course started. Things like general geography concepts such as reading a map, reading longitude and latitude, or what parts of the world are which climates. Not only that, but I've improved my communication skills working in groups for project assignments, and most importantly I've improved on my academic skills such as comprehension and researching. I believe both of those skills are important, but also critical thinking, which I definitely improved over the semester thanks to all the reading in all my courses. - December
