Environmental health is an enforcement agency who’s goal is to provide a safe and healthy environment in Pasadena. It is important for us to be aware of environmental health because we need to make sure that the environment we are living in is safe and healthy enough for us. Otherwise, our health could be affected. What I can do to enhance my local environment to ensure a longer and healthier life would be to recycle. Recycling can help my environment because it reduces the amount of trash that goes to land fields. Another thing I could do would be to use reusable bags instead of plastic ones, and to plant more trees to produce more oxygen on earth. I can also volunteer to do community service and help clean our community by picking up trash that people throw on the floor.
