Part three of our political science midterm; The Campaign Recommendation was a lot easier to compose than I originally worried. This assignment consists the uses of information obtained in our previous works: the video analysis, state statistics and media campaign discussion. Which I thought was a great way to implement these kinds of project, separating the final project into smaller relatable assignments made the Campaign Recommendation really compelling and simple to write because the writer is already exposed to all the information they will need to be using. Another reason I thought this method is better than most traditional projects is that since it was separated into smaller parts and each part is placed throughout a longer time span it induced much less pressure and anxiety to the students as they can view feedbacks on each assignment and improve on the next before finally the big project, comparing this to most other projects which are composed of everything all in one with a very strict timeline, students have to constantly worry about the quality of their work, and their time management since it is just one large project which can impact a great deal on the student's overall grade.

The skill that I felt this assignment has helped me developed the most is how to compose and structure a new piece of writing from prior work and info, because obviously it isn't as simple as copy and paste the prior works in order and call it a day, it requires many modification for the new writing to make sense in terms of format and terminology, organizing the statements to support each other in the structure. This assignment also made me relearn some of the skills I had forgotten over the years, mainly of how to write and format a memo, a skill I had not use since my business communication class.

What I want to improve is the time it took me to writing these types of assignments, it always presents a issue for me especially if the assignment is timed; such as the time essay we had which barely left me with less than 2 minutes. I feel I really think too much when I write and tend to get off track in terms of the topic of the writing, thus I think better brainstorming skills before the writing starts and time management skills during timed assignments is something that would benefit me greatly in situations like these. I'm really looking forward to see how I have improved when the next timed essay come,  and see how long it will take me to write that one comparing to the first one I wrote.
