Schedule of Classes

The schedule of classes is released a couple of months before the term begins. The info can be a little confusing, so here's a video that explains everything in more detail.

Modalities

In-Person: These classes meet in person, on campus. This may be at the main campus on Colorado Blvd., or at our satellite campuses.
Hybrid: These courses feature in-person lab or lecture time with an online component, which may be synchronous or asynchronous. 
Online Synchronous v. Asynchronous: Synchronous courses have a predetermined regular meeting time, and they typically meet on Zoom. Asynchronous courses do not have a set meeting time. They may feature pre-recorded lectures, discussion boards, and online exams/assignments. While an asynchronous modality may offer more convenience and flexibility, most data suggest that students tend to have higher success rates and better outcomes in synchronous courses. 

 Remember... 

 ❖ Full Time student status = 12.0 units or more. 
 ❖ Some classes are online; others meet on campus.
