Welcome! We are your Athletic Counselors at Pasadena City College (PCC) and we will be facilitating the Online New Student Counseling workshop.

By the end of this workshop you will achieve three goals:

After completing these three goals, you will receive an email or will be contacted by our staff members for assistance with booking an online counseling appointment. During your online counseling appointment, you will complete your first-year plan with a counselor to ensure that you are on the right track to meeting your goals. We look forward to meeting you virtually!

Have you attended a college or university before?

This workshop is designed specifically for students who have not previously attended a college or university. If you have completed more than 6 units, we recommend that you book a 45-minute phone or virtual academic counseling appointment by using the link here.

Start College Right

After you apply to Pasadena City College (PCC), you are encouraged to complete three achievements which include:

1. 1. Online Orientation
  2. Check your English and math placement in Lancerpoint
  3. New student counseling

During your counseling appointment, you complete steps 2 and 3! Completing these three achievements will give you an earlier registration date than students who have not yet completed these steps (2-3 days difference)!
