Developing Your Student Educational Plan

After you submit the intake form below, a counselor will review your information to develop an educational plan for Summer and/or Fall. Once your educational plan is complete, you can find your educational plan in your LancerPlan. Instructions on how to access your LancerPlan will be sent to your LancerMail. The processing time is about 7-10 days.

Important: Students who do not complete the intake form will have not completed the New Student Counseling process and will not have an educational plan on file to help them select the courses needed for the next term(s).

1) Attend A Registration Workshop

The educational plan that you will be provided by a counselor does not mean you are registered for the classes. All students will need to register for classes using LancerPoint. We offer Pre-Registration Workshops for you to learn how to register for your classes correctly and problem solve if something goes wrong.

- - For your health and safety, we will be presenting our Pre-Registration workshops online. Pre-registration workshop signup links will be sent to your PCC e-mail, stay tuned.

2) Register for Classes Starting June 2nd for Fall 2021!

Log into your LancerPoint account. On the left-hand side, click “My Classes & Academics.” Under Registration Steps, find step 2 Register for Classes and click “Add/Drop Classes.” It will direct you to a new page with a drop-down menu for the registration term Summer 2021 or Fall 2021. Choose the correct term and hit submit. You will be directed to a new page where you will input the CRNs for the classes you have chosen for that term. Once submitted, you will see if there are any conflicts, if you will be on a waitlist, or if you are enrolled for your classes.

To find your registration date and time, log into your LancerPoint account. On the left-hand side, click “My Classes and Academics.” Under Registration Tools, click “Check Registration Status & Date.” It will direct you to a new page where you will select the registration term Fall 2021. This page also shows you if there are any holds. If you see a hold on your account, please email thezone@pasadena.edu, and we will help you clear the hold.

Athletic Pathway students who have registered for JAM and are planning 12 units in the fall semester including the following classes: English, math, and College 001, and their sport class will register on June 2 or June 4, 2021. If your registration date is not one of the following dates and you would like it to be, please contact thezone@pasadena.edu

3) Attend JAM!

JAM is an orientation to college and a requirement for students seeking to receive priority registration from the Athletic Pathways Program.
