Zoom: Working with Interpreters and Captioners

If you have a student who requires a captioner or interpreter to be present in the Zoom meetings throughout the semester, DSPS will contact you to request a direct link to the Zoom meeting. 

Recurring meeting links will stay the same, so you will only need to do this once to cover all of the meetings in a recurring set.

  1. First, go to your Canvas course shell
  2. Click Zoom on the Course menu
    Zoom appears as an item on the Canvas course menu 

  3. Your Upcoming Meetings are listed.  Click the meeting's title (topic) to open the meeting details.
    Zoom topics are listed for all upcoming meetings. 

  4.  Your meeting details are displayed. Next to Invite Attendees, highlight and copy the Join URL.
    Join URL is displayed on the meeting details in the "Invite Attendees" section. 


  5. Paste the Join URL (which you copied in the previous) step into an email message, and send it to DSPS.
