Sharing Zoom Meeting Links with DSPS for Interpreters and Captioners

Providing Access for Interpreters and Captioners

If you have a student who requires a captioner or interpreter to be present in the Zoom meetings throughout the semester, DSPS will contact you to request a direct link to the Zoom meeting.

Recurring meeting links will stay the same, so you will only need to do this once to cover all of the meetings in a recurring set.

Steps to Share Your Zoom Meeting Link

First, go to your Canvas course shell
Click Zoom on the Course menu
Your Upcoming Meetings are listed. Click the meeting's title (topic) to open the meeting details.
Your meeting details are displayed. Next to Invite Attendees, highlight and copy the Join URL.
Paste the Join URL (which you copied in the previous step) into an email message, and send it to DSPS.

Important Notes

Make sure to send the link well in advance of the first class meeting.
If you change your recurring meeting settings, you'll need to send an updated link.
