Using the Screencast-O-Matic integration in Canvas
The ScreenPal app in Canvas is a convenient way to embed videos and other elements from your ScreenPal account directly into your Canvas pages, assignments, and/or discussions. You can also launch a new recording session from the ScreenPal app in Canvas.

Canvas Integration
- ScreenPal Canvas integration provides an easy way for you to embed your ScreenPal content into Canvas pages, assignments, discussions, quizzes, etc. Use the "More External Tools" button in the Canvas Rich Content Editor to embed your video content.
More: Where can I find the ScreenPal tool in the Rich Content Editor? - Course Menu: The ScreenPal link on your course menu is only going to embed one item. With “Change Content” button you can choose to select a video, a channel, or a recorder from your account. But that’s it. If you do not want to use the side-menu, you may simply hide it from your course navigation menu
Links to an external site.. You will still be able to embed your ScreenPal videos into your course materials, using the Rich Content Editor.
- More Features: When you log in to ScreenPal Links to an external site. website directly (using your PCC email address) and click My Videos, you’ll see a much more robust interface where you can manage your videos, create and assign channels, etc. Some tasks, such as creating a channel, can only be done directly on the ScreenPal website.
