The "Parts" of NameCoach

There are 2 parts to the NameCoach tool. 

1. The NameCoach recorder which is found under your Profile. It is simply called NameCoach. This is the part of the tool you would use to actually record your name, set your preferred personal title and pronoun if you would like.

 

2. The other part of the tool is called the NameCoach Roster. Which will automatically show up in Course Navigation starting in Winter. This is the part of the tool where you can listen to the name recording of others and see their preferred personal title and pronoun. The only people that show on that roster are the people in your course or section.

Your NameCoach recording will be the same in any course. Think of it similar to your Profile picture and Bio information. It part of your Canvas "persona".
