LancerPoint
Now that you are a PCC student, you will be able to access your student portal called “LancerPoint.” You can activate your student portal by visiting the following link (click here). We recommend that you securely save your username and password.Some of the popular features of your student portal include:

Online Orientation
New Student Orientation introduces students to the important college policies, expectations, and the range of services and programs available. The online orientation takes approximately 45-minutes to complete and includes YouTube videos. If you have not completed it yet, no worries, make a note to complete this achievement. Remember, this is one of the steps needed to earn an earlier registration date. You can find the link to the online orientation (click here). |
Financial Aid
Financial Aid is any source of funds that are available to help you pay for college. Most financial aid types come from federal and state programs, which require completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) Links to an external site. application and awards your funds based on your demonstrated need. If you are not a US Citizen or permanent resident but meet AB 540 criteria Links to an external site., you may be eligible for the California Dream Act (CADAA) Links to an external site..
We recommend that all new students submit a financial aid application for the 2023-2024 and/or 2024-2025 academic year to see what you may qualify for! PCC has staff members and workshops available for students who have questions about this process.

You will need to apply for financial aid every year. Additionally, enrollment status, full-time (12+ units) vs. part-time (less than 12 units), can affect disbursement amounts for awards and fee waivers like the Pell Grant, Cal Grant, and PCC Promise.
